Governor Mills Opioid Response Summit & Seminars are part of the state’s strong commitment to fighting the opioid epidemic. The Summit and Seminars convene leaders from across Maine to share ideas, strategies, and best practices to help Maine people and families affected by this public health crisis. The summit’s theme reflects the personal and societal challenges of substance use disorder and opportunities to build a better, kinder future together. Seminars are held on the first Friday of every month from 11:30-12:30, see the link below to register.

This past Thursday (7/10/25), the ADEPT Team celebrated the 7th Annual Governor Mills Opioid Response Summit in Augusta, Maine. We enjoyed another successful summit with over 1K people attending both in-person and live-stream. A big Thank You to all the hard-working professionals, partners, sponsors, community members, health care providers, policy experts, state and federal government leaders, affected individuals and families, advocates, and law enforcement officials who attended our summit. Read an overview and view a collection of photos of the event, and below Governor Mills’ press release as well as some local news coverage.
Registration will open soon for the next installment of Governor Mills Opioid Response Seminar Series. Stay tuned!
