
Governor Mills Opioid Response Summit & Seminars are part of the state’s strong commitment to fighting the opioid epidemic. The Summit and Seminars convene leaders from across Maine to share ideas, strategies, and best practices to help Maine people and families affected by this public health crisis. The summit’s theme reflects the personal and societal challenges of substance use disorder and opportunities to build a better, kinder future together. Join us for an important session as we explore The Maternal, Fetal, and Infant Mortality Review Panel. This seminar will delve into recent findings from the Panel’s review of all deaths of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the first year postpartum between 2021 and 2023.
